junior sponsors
OUR SPONSORS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO US. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF OUR JUNIOR TEAMS.
Round 11
Another bitterly cold day for our Juniors this week. 7 degrees at home at 9am when the first Cup Quarter Final game kicked off! No warmer at 11:30 when the 17’s took to the pitch for the last match of the day either! We had rain, hail and freezing winds! Was not a great day for our Cup teams, who despite giving it their all, were not able to progress through to join our U13 Legends and U15 Rockets in the Semi-Finals.
Round 9
First week back after the break and the sun was shining down on us all for the “Think Mental Health” Round. It’s a great reminder to check in with your team mates and look after not just your physical health, but your mental health too.
Was great to be back at it after the holidays, and so lovely to have some sunshine :)
Round 8
Mother Nature paid us a visit this weekend to remind us the Soccer is a winter sport. And boy did she remind us! I won’t lie - I was glad of a bye for our team that’s for sure! Read on to support all the junior teams who braved the weather to take to the pitch.
No games for the next 3 weeks due to school holidays. Safe travels for those heading away, and we will see you all back in July for Round 9!
Round 7
It was a very quiet week at home, with only 3 games at Gloucester Park and 3 at Rapids! Was very strange being the only team on the ground at Noon! Anita was glad of a Saturday off after a very hectic Friday Night as we welcomed our Jillaroos back for another home Round! With Seniors at home on Sunday and Jillaroo’s on Friday, it was still a big weekend for FMR!
Round 6
Round 6 was a MASSIVE week at home, with 13 games on at Gloucester Park and another 9 at Rapids! Was great to see so many games on and the atmosphere at the grounds was exciting a game after game was played on all 4 pitches. The rain held off, but the wind was decidedly chilly, with the temp 8 degrees as the first games started at 9am. Read on for a blow by blow of the games reported!
Round 2
Round 2 - another beautiful day with the sun shining nearly as brightly as the kids faces. So great to see everyone back out there having a good time, even if the score doesn’t always go the FMR way. It won’t be long before the rain and great skies come, but for now, everyone is enjoying these glorious days! Much more pleasant as a spectator!!
Round 1
Round 1 and we are back at it, with lots of smiling faces in the yellow and green this weekend!!
Our U6 teams travelled to Capel for Gala day, where they were welcomed to the competition and played some round robin games. Thank you to our friends at Capel for organising everything for our minniest Mini-Roos! We also had multiple games at home, with a couple of hotly anticipated Derby’s taking place, while other teams travelled far and wide to take on our competitors.
